Scope

The protection of your personal data is very important to me. Therefore, I process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal regulations (DSGVO/ data protection regulation, TKG/ telecommunication law 2003). In this data protection statement, I inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within my website www.nikolaushabjan.com.

My web space provider collects data about every access to this website (so-called server log files). Access data includes:
Name of the retrieved website, file, date and time of retrieval, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider.
I use the log data only for statistical analysis, security and optimization of this website. However, I reserve the right to retrospectively review the log data if, on the basis of concrete evidence, there is the justified suspicion of any illicit use.

Handling of personal data

Personal data is information that helps identify a person, i.e. information that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, email address or phone number. Yet, also data about preferences, hobbies, memberships or which websites were visited by someone.
I will only collect, use and pass on personal data if this is permitted by law or if you agree upon the collection and transfer of your data.

Contact

When contacting me (e.g. by e-mail) your information will be saved for the purpose of processing the request as well as in case of follow-up questions.

Integration of services and contents of third parties

This website includes third-party contents, such as videos from YouTube, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites. This always assumes that the providers of these contents (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”) exercise their IP address. Without the IP address, they would not be able to send the content to your browser. The IP address is therefore required for displaying these contents. I endeavor to use only contents from providers that use the IP address solely for the delivery of contents. However, I have no influence, if the third party providers save the IP address e.g. for statistical purposes. As far as I know, I will inform you.

For users who register on my website, I store the personal data that they provide in their user profiles. All users can view, change or delete their personal data at any time (still, the username cannot be changed). Site administrators can also view and change this information.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate users’ use of the website, to make reports on the website activity, and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator.
The IP address provided by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by a corresponding setting of your browser software. However, I inform you that you may not be able to fully use all the features of this website.
